About us
The Creative Centre in Vydrica was founded as a space where tradition meets modern
creativity. Located just beneath the iconic Bratislava Castle, our atelier is part of a new cultural heartbeat in one of the city’s most dynamic districts.
Here, art, music, and design come together under one roof. We welcome children, students, and adults alike—anyone eager to explore their creative side, learn new skills, or simply enjoy the process of making something meaningful.
Our mission is to inspire, connect, and cultivate talent in a setting that reflects both the rich history of Bratislava and its forward-looking spirit. The Creative Centre is more than a studio—it’s a community where imagination finds its home.
Our Creative Founders.
At School Of Arts , our teachers are more than instructors—they’re practicing artists, mentors, and guides who are passionate about helping every student unlock their creativity. Each member of our teaching team brings a unique blend of professional experience and artistic perspective, creating a learning environment that is both inspiring and supportive.
Principal / Arts
Mgr. Jakub Laca

As director and founder, I believe art is a path to freedom — of thought, feeling, and creation. Children who discover the joy of art gain not just skills, but the courage to be themselves. Our school nurtures every child’s spark, turning imagination into reality and inspiring creativity that makes the world more human and beautiful.
Teacher / Arts , Pottery
Mgr. Art. Silvia Paučíková

Art has always been a natural part of my life, and I’m grateful to share it with children. I studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where I gained both technical skills and a deeper perspective on creativity. At ZUŠ Hamuliakovo, I teach visual arts and ceramics, encouraging students to develop imagination, patience, and a sense of beauty. My goal is to create a supportive space where children feel free to experiment, grow, and enjoy the joy of creating.
Teacher/ Designer, Musician
Jonáš Tobiáš Lipovský

I am a guitar teacher, singer-songwriter, and music theory instructor who loves helping students grow as musicians. Alongside teaching, I lead my own ensemble, the Jonas Tobias Quintet, and sing with the band Monchichi. These experiences on stage give me the chance to bring real-world knowledge and inspiration into my lessons. In addition to music, I studied design at Umelecka Skola Josefa Vydru and STU Dizajn. This background gives me a broader creative perspective, and I enjoy encouraging students to explore their own artistic identity—blending discipline with imagination in everything they do.

How It All Started
From the very start, the goal was clear: to create an open, welcoming atelier where people of all ages could explore art, music, and design in a modern and inspiring setting. Surrounded by history yet built on new energy, Vydrica offered the perfect balance between tradition and innovation.
The Creative Centre quickly became more than just a space—it grew into a community. Here, students and artists come together to learn, experiment, and share ideas, all while enjoying the unique atmosphere of one of Bratislava’s most vibrant new districts.
